-I was definitely watching the show every single week, even in the shaky first season, possibly only because I was 12 and fascinated/terrified by UFO stuff. But I remember getting really obsessed with it after the first season finale, and the wait and excitement for the season 2 premiere. It actually reminds me of Buffy, where I watched the first season because it was fun, the finale got me super excited for season 2, and that payed off with a real increase in quality/consistency.
Anyway, fun listening to you guys discuss another favorite of my youth (after TNG). I rewatched the series for the first time leading up to the revival last year (well, the first seven seasons at least), and I was kind of shocked by how well most of it holds up.

-I feel like I missed out by not getting into the show until the second season, but I was still really early. And the second season just has an amazing start–so much more self-assured.
