-Do you always say verisilimitude to rile someone? I find it strange, it really sticks out.
Eric Brasure
-Yes, you. 😉

-I like it. It makes the podcasts worth listening to more than once. You keep boggling the mind.
Like when you called star trek one of the finest examples of 20th century american culture and one of the most important cultural artifacts to come out of the 1960s.

-I think the reaver-indian analogy is wrong. They are not a threat from the outside. The are not the other. They are basically us. And that´s what is meant to be disturbing about them. It´s a cautionary tale like Little Red Riding Hood, a campfire story to scare little kids. It´s about te loss of innocence. It´s pop philosophy: “If you stare long enough into the abyss, the abyss stares back into you.”

-I think they can be both! They kind of are Indians and the bogeyman all rolled into one. Their narrative function is kind of muddled.
